A 30-year-old man accused of assaulting three officers at a Central Lubbock Whataburger was indicted this week by a grand jury on an assault of a public servant charge.
Police were called out around 2:15 a.m. June 25 to the fast food restaurant located in the 1700 block of 19th Street after 30-year-old Eliseo Padilla III was allegedly yelling at employees and customers at the restaurant.

A man allegedly caught shoplifting from Amigos in late June was among a list of people indicted by a grand jury on Tuesday afternoon.
Matthew Main, 25, was caught shoplifting and was confronted by employees when he pulled a knife on June 24, according to officials.
He was indicted on a charge of aggravated robbery.
Luis Romero, 44, was indicted on two charges of burglary of a habitation and one attempted burglary of a habitation.
